A day at Deep Run Park

Allison and I met up again today to enjoy the warm, beautiful weather with the babes!

We walked around a lot, and swang Noel & Ronan in the infant swings. Noel wasn't sure what to think of the swing at first...but she eventually decided that she liked it. Ronan was making this little 'ahhhhhhhh' noise, almost like he was on a roller coaster...LOL

"Eh, not feelin it, mom!"

"What do you think about this, Ronan??"

Weeeeeeee!

Both Noel and Ronan were hungry, so we stopped at a bench. After we fed/changed them, Noel wanted to play...with Ronan's face! She was grabbing ahold of it - almost putting out his eye a couple of times. We laid them on their bellies towards each other and Noel started slapping her hands down on the bench and squealing. She was talking up a storm, happy as a clam.

I wish I could say the same for Ronan though - he burst out in tears! LOL I told Noel that she might have come off too strong, and not to feel too rejected. She really did show an awful lot of curiosity and interest in him. Another lady stopped by with her 6 month old, and Noel wasn't nearly as intrigued as she was with Ronan. Hahahaha...boy crazy at 5 months old!

Anyway, I think I've just come to accept that while we're out and about, we can pretty much forget about her taking any naps. She is SO active, curious, and happy when we're out. She rubs her eyes when she gets tired, but she will not take a nap. She also doesn't really get fussy like she does at home.

We hit a milestone this week! Friday night I saw Noel get up on all fours! She has recently becomed obsessed with "tummy time" and when you're holding her she will actually throw herself down on her tummy. She's also rolling like a little fiend. Back to front, front to back...all over the place. I can't believe how fast she's growing and how much she's changing. It really doesn't seem like she could be anywhere close to 6 months old, but she will be on March 25th.

Unbelieveable!!!
